DSCI Recruitment 2024 for Assistant Professor and Senior Residents in Different Disciplines

Delhi State Cancer Institutes (DSCI) has recently invited application for Assistant Professors in various disciplines (for a contractual period of 05 years) and Senior Residents in various disciplines (on Ad-hoc basis for a period of 44 days). All appointments are extendable based on the performance of the candidate and requirement of the work. For more details, please check the given below post-

Upper Age Limit (Assistant Professor)

55 years

Eligibility Criteria

(A) Assistant Professor (Clinical/Radiation Oncology/Medical Oncology, Onco-imaging/Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, Hemato Oncology, Onco-Anaesthesia, Surgical Oncology, Gastroenterology Medicine)

Qualification

(i) A medical qualification included in the I or II schedule or part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956.
(ii) MD/MS in the relevant discipline/subject.

Experience for General disciplines/ Broad Speciality

Minimum three years of teaching and/or research experience as Senior Resident/Demonstrator/Tutor/Lecturer or equivalent after obtaining the qualifying degree (MD/MS).

Experience for Super-Specialty discipline

M.Ch for surgical super specialities and D.M. for Medical Super-Specialities or equivalent. No experience required for M.Ch/ D.M. degree holder candidates.

(B) Assistant Professor in Cancer Research

Qualification

(i) MBBS or equivalent Medical Graduation Degree.
(ii) MD/DipNB or equivalent in Medical Genetics, Medical Oncology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Lab Medicine, Pathology, Pharmacology included in the 1st or 2nd schedule of Medical Council of India.

Experience

(i) Minimum 03 years of professional teaching or research experience in a dedicated instituion of repute.
(ii) Minimum 03 research publications in indexed, peer reviewed journals.

Note-: All candidates must be registered with the Medical Council of India/ State Medical Council.

Application Fee

Rs.1100/- by Demand Draft. There will be No Application Fee for SC/ST/PH category candidates.

Selection Process

The selection will be made on the basis of Interview.
