Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath has ordered to fill out 42 thousand vacancies of Home Guards to provide employment to youths. He also told to start the recruitment process as soon as possible due to thousands of vacancies of Home Guards due to retirement. The CM also gave direction to make rules for making Home Guards work as Volunteer or स्वयंसेवक to maintain law & order and any other kind of Critical Conditions or Disaster.

The recruitment process will be completed in two stages, which will be 21-21 thousand. Presently, there are 76 thousand full-time Home Guards in Uttar Pradesh and nearly 75 thousand working at Duty Point. Every year approximately 4 thousand Home Guards retire. According to this, 42 thousand Home Guards will be retired up to 2033. 

This is really great news for the unemployed people, who are waiting for a government job in the local area. Now, the department will release the official notification including details of posts, age, qualification, pay scale, selection process, how to apply, important dates and links, etc. on their official website.
