Post Name- Professor, Associate Professor, Additional Professor and Assistant Professor

Total Posts- 36

Upper Age Limit- 50 yrs as on 20.03.2023

Qualification and Experience- A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or part II of the third schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. MD/MS/DM/MCh in the Concerned Field. A total of 14, 10, 06 and 03 years of teaching and/or research experience for the posts of Professor, Additional Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor.

Pay Scale- (i) Professor- Level-14A Pay Matrix Rs.168900/- to Rs.220400/-,  (ii) Additional Professor- Level-13A-2+Pay MatrixRs.148200/- to Rs.211400/-, (iii) Associate Professor- Level-13A-1+Pay Matrix Rs.138300/- to Rs.209200/-, (iv) Assistant Professor- Level-12 Pay Matrix Rs.101500/- to Rs. 167400/

Selection Process-The selection will be made on the basis of interview test.

How to Apply- To apply, candidates need to send duly filled application along with required documents to the Executive Registrar, Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Raebareli Road, Lucknow 226014 by Speed Post/Registered Post before the last date. The envelope must be superscribed ‘Application for faculty position’ and mention the ‘advertisement number’ also.
