The Indian Navy has recently invited online application from unmarried male and women candidates for Short Service Commission Jan 2023 Course for various entries, which is given below-

(i) Extended Naval Orientation Course – General Service (Executive) GS(X)/ Hydrography

(ii) Naval Orientation Course (NOC) Regular – Naval Armament Inspectorate Cadre/Air Traffic Controller/Observer/Pilot/ Logistics /Education/Technical (Engineering & Electrical).

Qualification: B.E./ B.Tech./ M.Sc. in relevant stream with the minimum of 60% marks. 

Selection Process: Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of marks obtained by them in their educational qualification, after that they will need to appear in the SSB Interview & Basic Medical Fitness Test. Final selection will be made on the basis of Merit prepared by the department.

Important Points

The probation Period for SSC (NAIC) Officers is 03 yrs and for other Branches is 02 yrs.

NCC Candidates will get the Relaxation of 5% in Cut Off Marks.

Selected candidates will be granted Short Service Commission initially for 10 years extendable by maximum 04 years
