Eligibility Criteria for Professor, Assistant Professor and Associate Professor Post

Professor-  Ph.D. degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline and 10 research publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC- listed journals. A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in university/college as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor

Associate Professor- Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines. Master‘s Degree with at least 55% marks in relevant discipline. A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and/or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University.

Assistant Professor- Master‘s degree with 55% marks in relevant disciplines. The candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR.

Important Points

The number of post/s may increase or decrease as per reservation roster.

Online mode of submission of applications shall be essential.

Applicants shall first register on the recruitment portal, after which, they can fill up the prescribed application form online.

The selection process will consist of Exam/interview for the Post of Assistant Professor.

Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwDs category should submit relevant certificate as per the pro-forma prescribed by the Govt.
